Freedom Deli is now offering FREE back-to-back Poker Tournaments on Sundays at 2 & 5:30 p.m. Four new poker tables have been added to the Deli for these Sunday afternoon games. Players can also keep tabs on the latest in football games which are aired on the deli’s large screen TV. Try your best hand with $5,000 in Free chips, which can be doubled with a $5 donation to the non-profit 4feet2treat, a program that supports the use of therapy dogs. Top prize is a $500 Freedom Deli gift certificate or buy in to a tournament in Tunica MS at the end of 12 weeks. Other prizes (TBA) to be awarded. Tournaments limited to 40 players. Deal!

Freedom Deli is proud to have sponsored Tracee Gruskiewicz’s recent cross-country run — Cole’s Run — which was created to promote the use of therapy dogs in emotional and physical healing. Tracee began her run in California on May 8 and ended her trek on August 18 with an astonishing 59 miles covered on her final day’s run to the Atlantic. Her program, 4feet2treat, is locally based. Tracee is a student at Austin Peay State UniversityDeli owner John Matagrano was on Myrtle Beach to meet her at the finish line.

Captain and Clark, the traveling dynamic duo charged with the task of visiting the towns that were called “most patriotic” in America, visited the Clarksville area on July 3rd and 4th. Their visit included a stop for lunch right here at Freedom Deli!

We’re still blushing — they loved us! “Be good to your heart and to your taste buds,” they said. “Stop in to Freedom Deli if you ever find yourself in Clarkville. You won’t regret it.”
